Sponsor: IDRF Charity Golf Tournament

Updated: Dec 27, 2018

Kuber MIC donated $5,000 to the International Development and Relief Foundation (IDRF) as hosted their Annual Charity Golf Tournament to support their Licensed to Learn (L2L) initiative.

Licensed to Learn (L2L) was created in 2002 to empower students with the tools and confidence in themselves that are essential for success in school and beyond. Through a flexible and collaborative program under the guidance of experienced educators, L2L first provides students with tutor training that helps them understand how each person learns, who then in turn pass that understanding onto the peers they are tutoring. This not only provides personalized tutoring to struggling students but helps equip them with both a better grasp of how they can learn most effectively and the confidence in themselves to overcome future challenges, academic and otherwise. Student tutors receive, what is for many tutors, their first leadership experience, boosting their confidence and helping them to realize their own potential as leaders.
